OP here. My dd with extra time finished around 4:25. Friend’s dd at Poolesville finished the same exam about 20 minutes earlier, with no extra time. I guess it really varies.

Thanks for the responses.

My child taking AP world history with accommodations is still testing right now. It was a new time start as well.

From google:
The AP World History exam with extra time can be anywhere from 4 to 7 hours long, depending on the specific accommodation and whether it's an extended break or extended time. The standard AP World History exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes, but extra time is granted to students with qualifying disabilities.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Standard Exam Length: 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Extra Time Accommodations:
50% or 100% Extra Time: UWorld College Prep states that students with approved accommodations for extra time usually get either 50% or 100% more time than the standard duration.
Extended Breaks: While not extra time on the exam itself, students with extended breaks can have longer periods for breaks, potentially increasing the total time spent at the testing center.
Breaks as Needed: Students with "breaks as needed" can take breaks at any time during the exam, for as long as needed, which can also impact the total time spent.
Example Scenario: A student with 100% extended time would have 6 hours and 30 minutes (3 hours 15 minutes x 2) to complete the exam. If that same student also had extended breaks and breaks as needed, the total time spent at the testing center could be even longer.

It’s AP World History, so there’s a written element as well as MCQ.

World is supposed to be 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Thank you. Is that with or without the extra time?

That's without extra time. There are multiple sections that add up to 3h15m; I'm not sure if there are any breaks involved to add to that and they don't always start right at noon (at least at my kid's school), so it's hard to know exactly when it will end. https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/courses/ap-world-history-modern/assessment

I tried to get dd to find out, but she was only concerned about getting there on time to take the test. She doesn’t really care what time it ends. I’m trying to get an idea of when I’ll need to pick her up.

Last year when my daughter had that, she had to stay after school, but they told us beforehand so we could be prepared.
