So my kids ate 13 and 15 and they take Vitamin D and some other stuff. Because you child is 5, I would ask your pediatrician. I'm not sure if I would give my 5 year old anything that I didn't NEED to, even a multivitamin. Once once and more developed, I don't see any potential problems with giving a multivitamin. But I'm not a doctor. : )

+1. It’s why we give our kids Flinstone chewables and not the gummies.

NP. Which ones do you give and how old are your kids?

We do gummies at night, but I really don't think it matters.

I do vitamin C when DC is battling a cold and probiotics.

I agree that they’re largely a waste of money, but I’d rather waste money than have my kids have even a small deficiency that I could have prevented. I don’t sweat it if they don’t take them religiously, but I try to remember everyday at dinner.

Waste of money unless there's a nutrition deficit in food. And even then, eating real food is a lot better nutritionally.

Nope never have
Not necessary
Had blood work done at 5 I think, perfectly healthy.
12 now and an athlete, no issues.

Flintstone vitamins were the best!

I give my kids the Costco gummy vitamins. But if they were to start selling the Flintstone vitamins, I’d be right on those for me!

I sent my DS to college with chewable multivitamins.

We have a family history of osteopenia and osteoporosis (even males) so he also takes calcium.

When I was growing up my parents gave me I think Flintstones vitamins . Do parents still do that ? Was just wondering if I should be doing that for my 5 year old.
