If you don't let your child try, what if your child blames you in the future. If it turns out to be a bad fit, just transfer back to the base school. You child will at least gain some resilience.

If you are OP then I would recommend not sending your kid. I think TJ tends to work best for kids that pretty easily got As in their base school.
