They’re combining one group for next year (Gold AM will be merging with Gold 1 at MU). But they’re also bringing the Gold 2 group to Tysons, which it does not currently have. Gold Prep and the Silver and Bronze groups will remain unchanged next year. The two locations will be under one head site coach.
Groups at Tysons are pretty full (I’d say my DCs group is over capacity) so I’m not sure there’s a financial issue. More like an issue of opportunity, especially since they Tysons head site coach is moving to GP.
The Tysons head coach is moving to GP?
Is Jeremy going to GP because Bruce Gemmell is retiring, or is he going there as head coach in waiting?
Lead for Gold 2

Tyson’s gold group has some fast swimmers. Combining the two groups will benefit both gold groups as it makes a stronger training cohort for everyone.
