Talk to your OB op. My sister is an obgyn and I know she would say to talk to her and she could help with options - you def don’t have to live with that

Omega fish oil capsules helped me.

I went off the mini pill (which I was on for 3 years) recently at 43 because I was tired of having a low libido, vaginal dryness, and no periods. It’s been 45 days and already those symptoms are improving, I am ovulating again, and my period is back. Birth control causes a lot of side effects - I’d assume that is what you are experiencing before perimenopause. Only way to know is to go off of it to see and use a barrier method or have your partner get a vasectomy. I was surprised and happy that it’s not perimenopause, yet.

How old are you? Peri can start around 40. Estrogen cream is your friend.

Revaree has been helpful for me in menopause. Maybe it would help in your situation?

Ask your dr to check you for symptoms of lichen sclerosis ( diagnosis requires a biopsy).

Topical estrogen can greatly improve dryness.

Perimenopause can start 10 years before the real deal

At my postpartum appointment, my doctor warned me I would be very dry down there but 2 years later I am still SO DRY. It is such a stark change from how my body was prior to kids. Does this ever get better or do I just have to wait until I'm off Mirena?
