Whatever happens with this idea, it tells me that they are desperate to fulfill Trump’s campaign promise to deport millions of “illegals.” If they were meeting their daily quotas, they wouldn’t have to resort to bribes.

I'm a Canadian citizen with a Green Card. Alas, $1000 doesn't cover 3 days in Toronto. Bump the number up a 100-fold and you might get some self-deportations at this moment in time.
