He is average height/build, and he has low muscle tone. So far, he does the best are basketball and indoor rock climbing from parent's standpoint. He shows that he has potential to grow. The other two are just meh. He can't run and he is easily out of breath. Doing lap and running the whole time on soccer field seem quite energy exhausting to him. He has a small belly, probably he has no strength.
- soccer (4 plus years experience) #3<--Some Middle School have after School Soccer Clubs... most kids are welcome and can play.
- basketball (5 months experience) #4 <--This might be self limiting based on the height of the Parents...unless he is scrappy on the court, the tall kids take over.
- swimming (4 years experience) #2<--Just summer Swim or year round swim? Summer swim is fine. He can still join year round swim and will probably do fine.
- indoor rock climbing, may try outdoor rock climbing one day (3 months experience)
#1<--Probably the easiest to get serious at, this is such a niche sport. Also, thanks to Ninja Warrior, it a 'cool' sport. IF your kid doesn't have the cardio, I'd say this might the sport for him.
