My advice is to let your kid lead the process. All the ECNL clubs are different - don’t let anyone tell you they’re the same. My DD tried out at all the clubs this year and she felt awful at one and loved and clicked with another. She’s going to the one she shined at and I believe she shined there because she felt comfortable there and just played soccer freely rather than worried about the tryout.

Oh but if you do consider FVU, realize that they only practice 3 times a week. The other clubs practice 4 times. I think the difference shows.

If your kid is decent they will take you as long as playing time and development are not important to you.
