I guess op thought if NOVA is more expensive then both of the aforementioned places that parents would make their kids tough it out. Which to be fair is common in the DC area.
It’s common everywhere the dc area isn’t special in that regard.

Our situation is not identical, but somewhat similar. Need a small class size for now. Fingers crossed thar things improve.
