And in saying all of this, I think Vandy is an incredible place with great resources. Very different places.

Okay, so if you're an upper class wealthy ski type of person, you fit in well. Sounds amazing...
Also getting to Boston and NYC are both a PITA.
I've been to Williams many times. You seem obsessed with a few fancy promotionals and the website you read online.

As others have noted, Williamstown and Nashville are vastly different environments. If you still have time, try to visit both, For my part, I loved the location of Williamstown, but I was never a "go out to the club" kind of person. I'm sure many others would prefer Nashville, but there is no "right" answer

Maybe 15 percent of boys at Vanderbilt join fraternities. It's not the issue you think it is.
But I think it's very unusual for students to apply to both Vanderbilt and Williams. They are very different schools. I don't think there are a lot of Vandy students that could endure the isolation of Williamstown for four years. And I don't think there are a lot of Williams students that would like Nashville for four years. Outcomes are probably the same. But those are very different experiences.

Boys can love any college and do well at many types of institution. Williams has less opportunities for boys.

DC lucky to have these two choices and stumped - says he could see himself happy at either - question is in terms of outcomes, both do very well, but seems like Vandy more with MBB (two of 3 firm founders from Vandy) and Williams more IB / Wall street pipeline. Generalizations for sure, but any thoughts - and I know Williams is isolated lol! and he likes nature just fine
