The Art 1 and Art 2 classes are great.
I think there might be photography and graphic design class, but not sure.
Some folks, at some point, take journalism which is a pre-req for being on TJ Today--but I don't know much about this.
If your student might be interested in a U of CAlifornia school--one thing that TJ families don't realize is that 1 year of visual/performing arts is required for admission. I think that kids can get in, if the counselor writes that it wasn't part of the grad requirements. But I do wonder if TJ's lower acceptance rates to UCLA or Berkeley might be reflected in that.
All that to say--go for a fine arts elective for a year. Great way to transition into high school!
