They are strays and will die off from exhaustion after aimless wandering try to find their original nest.

That’s why I don’t outsource the mulching.
I’ve been using Bayer Ant treatment on our perimeter and under the containers. It works.

Do you have a regular perimeter pest service? Get one. They can climb up and under siding.
