Hit or miss with Weinfeld.
1 consultant we used was clearly going through something (did not realize it until too late) and was not there when we needed them.

-----------------------------
The strategies program in DCPS is geared toward kids with executive functioning challenges who are usually ahead academically. I will say it not offered at every DCPS and exists in different grades at different schools. Some may have the strategies program in the lower elementary, whereas others may have it in MS. It truly depends on the school.

Anonymous wrote:Op here - DC is 5 years old. I want to know if there’s an advocate who is well aware of DC specific programs (ie Strategies in DCPS) and whether DC will be a good fit etc.

Kim Glassman (attorney) knows DCPS well and recommend advocates.

Anonymous wrote:Hello, I’m looking for and advocate recommendation particularly for someone who is well versed in DCPS. We’ve hired someone who knew a lot on Montgomery county, MD, but not DC before and want to find someone who knows DCPS system well.
Extra points if the advocate knows schools on the Hill well. Thanks in advance.
