As far as I know, that team (under GA) merged with GF-R since they had an unused ECNL-R slot. My kid moved to another sport after that first ECNL-R season, so I don't know what's happened since.

Ahhh. Glenn. Yeah, he's still coaching at GFR. I think he focuses on coaching girls. This FPYC tryout is for boys.

That 08 girls team tanked, didn't win a game all Fall and then fell apart.

Coaches look to be Chez Stephens and Marvin Powell as they are the current U19 coaches and they also coach Oakton HS boys soccer. Who is GA?

08/09? Shouldn't it be 08/07? Are you not going to have a team with 07s?

Ready to take your game — and your high school memories — to the next level?

Come out to FPYC United Soccer 08/09 Tryouts on Thursday, May 1st at Draper Park (9797 Beech Drive, Fairfax, Va 22031)

https://www.fpycsports.com/sports/soccer/travel

This is more than just soccer — it's about building lifelong friendships, growing as young men, and playing for coaches who truly care about YOU and your future, on and off the field.
We’re focused on team building, personal development, and making sure you enjoy every moment of these last special years of high school.
If you’re ready to compete, connect, and create memories that will last forever, this is your team.

Our coaches understand the importance of high school soccer because they also coach Oakton’s boy’s varsity team and will make sure players have the time and rest to do both.

Bring your energy, bring your passion, and bring your best self.
We can’t wait to see you there!
