I just wish they wouldn’t show the previews during shows my ES kids watch. It’s freaked them out.

Just fyi if you watch to the end of the credits there's an extra scene
Two extra scenes although the last one is sort of meh.

It’s soooo good. Lots of Oscar buzz already. Love the Ryan Cooley/Michael B Jordan duo.

Entertaining, well acted but storyline was lacking. I am a purist when it comes to period pieces so I did not love the creative license.

My daughter and I went the first weekend it was out. Loved it. I avoided all spoilers before seeing it so I didnt know what it was about other than just the official preview. It's been so long since I saw a movie that wasnt based on a book or a sequel that I actually enjoyed and wanted to see again. We both are going to see it again this weekend.

Right!? It's well done, great piece of cinema.

I didn't say it's not disturbing. PP asked if it's gory. Obviously the story and social commentary are disturbing - but really well done, and worthwhile. Also it's good as a piece of cinema/story.

Tell me what you thought of it!

Saw it in 70, going back to see IMAX. Great story.

I am OP and I did not find it overly gory. But it does have vampires and blood - and a big shootout scene. And some people burning to death. Maybe it is pretty gory...

My friends saw it yesterday and told me I must go. I plan to see it soon.

Saw it in a packed theater yesterday. Such a good movie - great mix of entertaining, engaging, sentimental, surprising, thought provoking.

Then I tried to explain it to my mom and once I got to "then the vampires show up" she was out.

If you aren't my mom, go see it and report back what you think.
