Someone should have advised Trump and Biden on what would be appropriate to wear. At most funerals, a navy suit for Trump and a blue tie for Biden is completely respectful. Their teams should have known better or they are both difficult and fussy old men who refused.

Growing up in my family, everyone wore all black. We are Italian. I still do out of habit for all funerals. It seems disrespectful to me if I wear any other color. My husband and kids don’t follow this and I realize many colors are appropriate.
