Thanks everyone. Will skip Heidelberg then. We were going to head to Barcelona after xmas, but might switch gears to leave xmas eve.

+1. If you get a chance maybe do a big city one like Cologne and then a small town one but unless you are collecting the gluhwein mugs there isn’t a reason to hit a bunch of them.

Strasbourg has a nice Xmas market. Skip Heidelberg. Also, as an FYI, Xmas market items anywhere in Europe often are expensive.

We could do one night there after we land in Frankfurt. Would be headed to Cologne and then Strasbourg after that. Or better to just do one night in Frankfurt?
