We are similar age and ethnicity so aged pretty similarly. Not great but not horrible either.

I don't know any husbands who have aged better than their wife.

In my house it is my DH. He is 59 and nobody would guess that. He has always looked younger than his age. He is fit and trim. His hair is still sandy blond with very little gray. We also adopted our DS late in life so when we are out, nobody thinks we are the age we are. We still ski, hike and bike.

My younger friends say that they don't think I look my age either but menopause sucks out loud. I workout and eat right and I've all but given up alcohol because having a drink gives me an almost immediate headache. I'm petite so that contributes to people thinking I'm younger. I color my hair so my gray is covered. I do my best to dress in a younger style, not like a teenager but there is no Chicos in my closet.

It depends on the period of time. There were certain periods he seemed to be aging better and there were certain periods I seemed to be aging better.

We are in our 50s. DH is a year older than me. His facial features have aged better than mine but physically I have taken better care of my body. He packed on a bit in the mid section which he is now trying to trim. I have always been slender build and have keep up w jogging and weight training.

Menopause has made its mark on my face w skin sag, wrinkles and dark spots. No amount of sun screen or fancy face cream is gonna help. I have stopped fussing over this.

My Asian husband exposed himself to intense Caribbean sun for years when he was younger, without sunscreen. So now, it shows: he has dark sun spots on his face. Apart from that, he's relatively youthful looking - hardly any white hair at 60, very fit and trim, etc. So it's a real shame about the sun exposure.

I lived in a northern country as a child, and have used sunscreen regularly as an adult, so I look much younger than he does.

90% of what a guy has to do to age well is just "not be fat".

For women, not being fat is important but she also has to take care of her skin and hair.

My dh is 4 years older and has definitely agreed better. Neither one of us is overweight but we also aren't super good about exercise.
