Denise Austin videos on Utube.

For something to start.

Then if you are doing well in a few months move to one of the above suggestions.

You don't need a "plan" or any gimmicks. Just learn to do the exercises with proper form. Start with machines first as you learn.

If you want a simple, basic plan take a look at the Strong Women Stay Young program. It was originally a book. I don’t know if they have videos.

I find pushups, situps, and planks do a lot. You could try spending 3 minutes a day doing each of those as a start.

Try fitness blender. They have series for beginners and some of them are free.

OP, what are you finding hard/intense about the ones mentioned above?

You don't know how to do the movements? Too much volume?

It isn’t easy. If it were, it wouldn’t be a workout! I found all but the core work to be easily adaptable. That was all just well beyond me when I started.

Another recommendation for Caroline Girvan. If it is hard, lower weights and do less reps. Try to concentrate on form. You will improve!

I love going to the gym with a clear lifting plan and have used this program and ap for years. There are 3 or 4 day a week options. new programs come out every month. Videos for every exercise with clear cues and instructions. Highly recommend.

Yup. Start with Epic Beginner, 24 Days of Xmas, or Iron on YouTube.

I’m in desperate need of a strength training plan. I can’t afford a trainer. Does anyone have recommendations for videos/app/website that gives an organized weekly or monthly plan? I know there are lots with video libraries but those leave me overwhelmed with what to do everyday. Help!
