I did the confirmation and did not have to upload anything. I just had to verify my email and cell phone numbers, both of which I'd provided when originally registering.
I do get the sense that it's a decent number of people who got this email, so I don't necessarily feel any closer to getting tickets than I did before.

Although it said it might ask for me to upload ID, I didn't have to.
Last year I didn't even get this far in the lottery, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
