I like the Treluxe products from Whole Foods. I use the serum and the gel. My hair is fine, but I have a a LOT of it. Curls are 2b-between 3b, depending on the day.

I'd call myself a 2a-2b - OP. I have thick, coarse hair. I am committed to my shampoo/conditioner, it works for me (Plaine Products). I mostly hate using multiple products, I like a medium hold. I wouldn't mine trying a spray or something I don't have to put on my hands. My hair looks dull and lacks shine.

I'm a big fan of the Innersense products. I create curl memory is supposed to be good for coarser hair. I have fine hair and use I create Hold and I create volume. I especially like the volume one for refreshing--it's a foam and works great.

Dullness is typically due to product buildup and dryness. You may want to use a clarifying shampoo once a week and potentially your current spray is drying your hair out. Is your conditioner moisturizing enough? Use a lightweight curl cream or gel instead of a spray.

When I was wearing my hair wavy/curly, I just read a lot of Reddit reviews and tried the travel sizes. Once you figure out what type of product you need (I have very fine, wavy/curly hair, so anything slightly heavy weighs it down) you can narrow it down to certain types of products and experiment. It’s a PITA, but necessary since everyone has a different combination of curl pattern/texture

Are you sure you don’t have Irish curls? Is it straighter in some areas than others when dries naturally?

What is your hair type (curl pattern, coarseness, etc.)?

There are stylers at Target and similar stores that aren't super expensive. Not Your Mother's has reasonably priced products, and they have smaller sizes at my Target.

Thank you, I've done that! I don't believe that just because something isn't CG approved, it won't work for me.

I am looking for a curl cream with hold. There are dozens of companies that have a curl line. Each product is $10-$30 and have massive quantities in the bottle. How do you find what works for you without breaking the bank?
