OP: Doc didn't do any testing, she concluded because of my weight gain in the last 6 months (8 pds), interrupted sleep and age (56) that I might benefit from HRT. Mens was also gone by more than 6 months by now. Anxiety and sleep definitely got better. I am taking 100 mg progesterone (oral) and 0.05 mg Estradiol (patch)
So she didn't check any of your hormone levels before starting you on hormone supplements? Yikes...
