Take him to an allergist for testing. My son had red cheeks and ears for a long time, and it turned out he had allergies.

Would he happen to be Irish? Me and my kids go very red in any sort of heat, and my 14 yo always has reddish cheeks naturally. Some people just have more blood in their face, and have redder cheeks because of it.

OP - He is fair skinned and he does flush, but even if he's in the house/school, his cheeks are rosier than the rest of his face.


99.9% nothing to worry about then. He might get teased some by boys, but girls will like it when he blushes at their flirtations.

OP - He is fair skinned and he does flush, but even if he's in the house/school, his cheeks are rosier than the rest of his face.

Hi, I'm getting more concerned about my 13 yo. Lately, within the past year or so, his cheeks seem to be always flushed, and it bothers him appearance-wise. We went to his derm, but he didn't give us a follow-up the last time we visited. Nothing has changed in his lifestyle apart from this. Is there reason for this? Getting worried.
