My impression is that the academic curriculum is very strong across all areas (including math) and a student that is a good fit for a smaller school would thrive there. For my kid, he opted for a different school that was probably a better fit for his personality.
I recently spoke with my friends whose kids are at Trinity at Meadowview and so I think I know what the PP was referring to regarding financial issues. Apparently, Trinity at Meadowview has for years been affiliated with several other "Trinity" schools across the country. There has been some recent organizational changes and I understand that the Trinity at Meadowview school has terminated those previous affiliations and reorganized as independent. From what I hear, Trinity at Meadowview is in a much stronger financial position than the other schools, so that may be part of why they wanted to separate; in any case, from what I hear I think that Trinity at Meadowview is doing fine financially and I don't think that is a concern.
Regarding sports, as a smaller school, I don't think they're very strong in comparison to larger private schools in the area. My friends' children played various sports with the school just for fun, but they weren't winning any championships or raving about the strength of the athletic programs -- it's more of an extracurricular thing students do just for fun.
The Trinity Schools, Inc website still lists TSMV as one of their schools, so either the website is out of date or this would have to be a very recent change.
