What would be the safest/most fun/cheapest for them and which specific cities? I've done all of these but ages ago.
What season?
summer
How many days?
And where in France is the family they are visiting?
Clermont-Ferrand. And they are flexible on time bc they are staying for a month and a half.
Wasn't expecting that! Hope their French is okay - that's the type of area you probably won't have that many English speakers, relatively speaking.
I'd go somewhere around the French or Italian lakes near the Alps- Annecy, Maggiore, Como, Lugano.
