The DOJ has been the personal law firm of many, many presidents. Doesn't anyone remember AG Holder saying that he was President Obama's "wingman"? Also, Bobby Kennedy was the brother of President John F. Kennedy. There are plenty of examples of AGs being very close to their Presidents, with the DOJ following the President's law enforcement agenda.

Yes. The DoJ is trying to step in and represent adjudicated sexual assaulter Donald J. Trump in his continuing litigation with E. Jean Carroll. While Republicans would have (and should have) been outraged had Clinton done this with his cicil legal problems, I doubt you'll hear even a peep of protests. Republicans have simply become cucks.
