in LA? a 40 miles trip in an hour is great time

Visit all three. They all have a different vibe and are amazing in their own ways.

Dd was very interested in Pomona (ended up choosing between Pomona and Williams in the end) We toured Pomona, CMC and Pitzer because there is no reason not to if you are there anyway - very easy to do 2 tours in a day and the 3rd the next morning or previous afternoon. I am glad she didn't tour just Pomona because seeing the three, hearing from the AOs in the info sessions, and meeting the individual tour guides gave her a much better understanding of how the colleges differ and the how the consortium community works together. We loved Pomona and it would have been amazing for dd - I think my younger child will end up applying to Pomona and CMC as well. The campus and town are very walkable, and spending more than just a day there gives you a great feel for the area (we loved Hotel Casa 425 and had a couple of really good meals in Claremont as well). Have fun!

Any student at any 5C can take (almost) any class at any other 5C. And the colleges are literally right next to each other. But you ought to do an official tour of Pitzer too. Each college has a different vibe, and you might get a feel for that on the tours.

Also, you can eat at any dining hall while visiting — they’re not only for current students. There are also a couple of cafes on the campuses, in addition to lots of dining etc in the village.

Pitzer I think has a self guided walking tour posted online of all 5 campuses of you just want to see them— they all are very close together.

They are connected but different. Each one has its own vibe. Easy enough to visit them all.

thanks! would pitzer be worth the tour? an easier admit, for sure. just dont want to cover the same ground over and over. It feels like the campuses are very connected
