"The Mayor's Office said the trip was covered by DC's Chamber of Commerce which wasn't true and then it said it was paid by the U.S. Conference of Mayors which was also not true."

No DC govt official should fly business or first class. It should be economy or self pay the difference.

This is confusing. The letter states she flew to Doha (which makes sense, she met with the Qatar government, and they paid for it), so what does this have to do with going to Dubai, an entirely different country?

Then it states "first class" but Qatar airways only offers business class. They don't have a first class. Now if she flew Emirates to Dubai, they do indeed offer first class on their flight from Washington...

She saw what happened to Eric Adams with regards to flying first class, when he criticized the open border, and Biden’s DOJ went after him.

She didn’t want to risk someone going after her the same way if she got on Trump’s bad side.

Why would Bowser hide her expense and it was paid by Qatar where as her staff had the DC tax payers pay for first class tickets on qatar airways. This is on top to expensive hotel. Why are we putting up with this
