Sure being disciplined and active protects you against all diseases.

The human lifespan has increased as medicine and medical procedures have improved.

It's not God, it's science.

Cells die and shrink as they age, which leads to organ atrophy.

Passage from Genesis 5.
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:

27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

I think you put to much into religion and what you are told via others.

What makes you think that? Something personal?

Does that mean that if a single individual is righteous and without sin, they can live to 120 or longer? Or, does it mean that all of humanity has to "recover from sin" in order to live longer?

Science is what has extended lifespans, both individually and on average. Ultimately, science may one day allow for people to live very long lives. Our bodies are biological machines that could be maintained nearly indefinitely. And, just wait until we figure out how to store our minds electronically.

I know people hate when the atheists roll in, but here I am. These kinds of questions confuse me. If God didn't intend for us to live so long, wouldn't we just...not? I guess it depends on what flavor of God you're talking about, but if you believe this and you're hitting 75, where does that leave you? Wait for a lightning strike? Should you just opt out on your own? Hunger strike?

Yes.
My dad lived to 77. Although he was a young dad, and has many grandkids, he only saw one grandkid married. In fairness some of those kids were 6. Others in their 20s. I would have loved for him to see my kids grow older.

How you live more than how long you live.

What do you think? Passage from a bible anyone? People are do obsessed with living so long, it’s a multi billion dollar business.

I think you must be very young and cannot imagine ever approaching the ripe old age of 75. When (if ) you do, your attitude will probably change.
