CT’s are safer than MRI’s if they have to have to the heavy metal contrast gad.

I wouldn’t unless the breathing issues were a really big deal. What does he think he will see in the sinuses? most likely it is allergies.

I have had 3. My son has had two. Sometimes you have to assume risks to get the necessary information. Nothing is risk free.

An MRI was not presented as an option. I was just going by what the ENT (who came highly recommended and is great) was saying. Then I read this today and I am second guessing.

Main danger I'd be concerned with is Thyroid glands and the abundant lymph nodes in that area.
