They did say 1 to 2 weeks to me and the other parents who were also waiting there, so I was surprised that it was two days. Yeah, I think it seemed accurate, but I'm no expert. She was really terrific with my daughter. They hit it off pretty well, which helped her to relax and enjoy the process. I know they are really aiming to hit the deadline for as many people as possible, even changing their sign up process for April to the form. Good luck!

I'm the one who posted saying we took it Friday. We received an email yesterday that the report was ready and had the discussion with the student this afternoon.

I haven't even heard back about an appoinment so my guess is we won't get it in time for the appeal, which is frustrating.

The test administrators are students in training, under the supervision of a clinical psychologist. They write a thorough report, that includes background that you provide, that needs to be checked/approved by the supervisor and possibly others. The amount of time it takes can simply vary depending on how quickly everything can be written up and checked. Mine took a little over two weeks. I actually got this completed before AAP notifications went out; they might be going faster now because they are ready to be busy. They also don't want to say you'll have it in a few days when it could be longer.

Last year, we had one of the first appointments set aside for appeal testing, and didn't get the results for several weeks, a few days before the appeal deadline.

For us it took about a week to get the results.

If anyone has has their kid do the WISC at GMU to add to an appeal after being rejected for AAP, how long did it take you to get the results? They said we would get them before the deadline of May 1, but does anyone have experience with how soon before?
