You can get a 750+ without being able to read a whole book cover to cover, which is what the article is talking about.

Because the EBR portion of the SAT is not really reading comprehension. With practice, You can literally score 750 just by reading the questions then finding the answers among the multiple choice answers.

Look, I have no problem with standardized tests in general. But the American style of testing is easily gamed and has barely any relevance to actual understanding.

The SAT does not test reading ability or vocabulary. It’s a pattern matching game. With enough practice, you can pump your score to 750 easily.
