I'm having a hard time being interested in Ludwig. I can't stand the way no one is concerned about the character who is missing. It's just too ridiculous and it's not humorous enough. I have britbox and haven't found anything that will keep my attention.

If you like Ludwig you should check out McDonald & Dodds.

Other favorites are:
Agatha Raisin
My Life is Murder
Brokenwood Mysteries
Mr. & Mrs. Murder

Also Rans:
Mrs. Siddhu Investigates
Harry Wild
Murder, They Hope (this is also sillier but my daughter liked it)
Death in Paradise & Beyond Paradise
Queens of Mystery

Meh:
Darby & Joan
Madame Blanc mysteries

I've never been able to get into the ones set in the past - Miss Fisher, Sister Boniface, Father Brown.

These are all available on Britbox or Acorn.

Don't forget Jonathan Creek!

Death in Paradise/Beyond Paradise is good. Only because of Kris Marshall. I can't stand the actress that plays Martha.

I binged it on a British Airways flight and enjoyed it.

I like Happy Valley, Unforgotten, Broadchurch, Slow Horses, Wolf Hall, Shetland and Vera. Not necessarily comedies but all good shows and great characters.

Anyone watching on britbox? I've really enjoyed it, and am in suspense for the finale.

Also happy to see that Shakespeare & Hathaway has a fifth season in the works.

What are some of your your favorite mystery-comedies?
