Also, if these become permanent, they will need staff to be there to attend to them... staff that won't be able to supervise the other kids inside the building, and that lack of supervision has been a problem in places where this has been implemented. Not saying the system isn't a need or good... just that there is an impact there and if something goes down in other places where admin and security can't be, it's an issue

Weapons won’t be able to be brought in. They will be detected.


So will every three ring binder and water bottle. The vast majority of kids are going to end up needing secondary screening if they’re not careful, and it’s going to be a mess.

you realize that it will travel around all the hs. one at a time. The line to go in will be so long that anyone who was planning something that day will be able to ditch the weapon.

Either all entrances every day, or none.
