Are you a current Bethesda player that was just given the spot you wanted for next year, or were you trying out from outside the club? Trying to figure out where we are in the hierarchy of offers. And trying not to lose hope 😊

Is this the first year where there is MLS next 2? WHAT is better for a U14 player- play top tier EDP, which is what he’s playing now, or take a spot on MLSN2 and hope he gets to move up next year for U15??

The rollout differs between age groups.

As is usually the case in this forum when it comes to Bethesda! People go crazy. Who knows why? It’s so over the top. But I do believe the people who say their players got offer letters!!

Much of this is misinformation.

Round 2 of callbacks were last weekend! Tryouts 3 weeks ago.

Shoot! I was hoping they were still deciding. No offer for our son from Bethesda (he’s trying out for MLS next from outside the club). I am surprised they don’t send a rejection letter since it was 3 rounds of tryouts!! But I’m glad I checked here and we can try to move forward with the great ECNL offer he does have elsewhere. received offer from dcu, no u14 next year, received offer right away from bethesda. your ds probably on the bubble, i would look somewhere else.

100% offers have gone out to some players. Nobody wants clubs to over-roster, but if they try to manage the process, it means there can be gaps between when the first offers go out and subsequent offers go out. It's rough when players are training together and texting - of course they're going to talk, so nothing stays a secret.

If you didn't get your offer already I would def be concerned. You kid is either not on the team or one of the bubble players and they are waiting on other kids to accept offers first.

Why do some clubs take forever to send offers even for existing players? I don't think Bethesda has sent any offers to existing players. Poor kids and desperate gullible parents who are waiting and then are told they are going to MLS Next 2. By then all other clubs have a full roster and you are screwed. Another reason to lookout for your player and not the clubs. They don't care. It's a fact. Loyalty is a myth in the DMV. Thoughts?
