I think it's a name from the 70s or 80s so at this juncture you're more spotting a trend with women of a certain age rather than a name.

I wonder if we know the same Denise! I also rarely think negatively about anyone and consider myself extremely easy going. The Denise I know (though our DDs) is one of the most spiteful and socially inept people I’ve ever met.

I knew a brunette Denise who had at least one sister. I wouldn't call her nosy but she may have been a gossipper. I don't think you should demonize women's names like Karens.
