+1.

Maintenance is the real diet.

I agree with PP. just knowing that this is the way I need to be now and being somewhat ok where I’m at.
I was 265 in 2017 and had WLS. Got down to 175ish… then crept back up to 191 2 years ago. I wasn’t happy that I was back in the 190 range. Started swimming and walking more ( I have a dog to walk which helps) and am now at 174. I’d like to be 165 but I also feel happy whete I’m at too. I feel healthy, I’m not “ the fat person” getting on the plane etc. I don’t feel judged by others.
I know they what I’m doing as far as exercise and eating is the way I need to be going forward.

I’ve lost 110 pounds over a year and a half and I have another 50 to go. You just keep going. No alternative. Just keep going.

Get a trainer and tell them to make you strong. Lift heavier

^Also, I turn 40 this fall and really want to be actually happy with my body before a trip to Napa! How can I kick it into high gear?

How do you maintain momentum/excitement/keep your eye on the prize?

I topped out at 237 a week before my last baby was born (baby is two!). Finally started getting serious about exercise/nutrition and have lost 25 pounds since last summer, from ~190 to ~165….but I still have 20 pounds to go. I still have “problem areas.” I still wear two sizes bigger than I would like to.

😫

I’m committed but it feels like it’s taking forever! How do you stay motivated? TIA!
