You're able bodied, right? I had no trouble traveling with a baby and our stuff.

You and the kid share a suitcase.
You check the suitcase.
Backpack for carry on = include one change of clothes for baby and you.
You get a skycap if needed.

The only thing I can see being an issue if you have a separate car seat and stroller. But you can get attachments for the car seat so you can wheel it through an airport.
I'd also plan on everything taking more time than you think. Security, getting to the gate, bathroom, etc.

Honest question? What do you do will all of that stuff? My parents similarly make a hobby out of overpacking and then act as though it’s some sort of plight that has happened to them without their consent.

Put baby in carrier (ergo, etc.) Use a backpack for your carryon. You then have two hands free to roll suitcases through the airport. Or if you need a stroller, one hand to push the stroller and one hand for a suitcase.

What are you asking exactly? How to get your crap from the car to the desk at American Airlines to check everything? If so, you’ll do it the same way everyone else does it. I don’t get the question.

You don't need to ship stuff just for one kid. You can rent or buy whatever you need where you're going. You have way too much stuff.

My inlaws ship luggage and golf clubs with FedEx but they're old and can't manage golf clubs in an airport.

You don’t need half the stuff you think you need, OP.

Does the hotel offer a pack n play? If so, use that. Pack only a your own sheet and sanitizing wipes if you feel the need to wipe it down. If not, check your own, it’s one more bag.

Have Instacart deliver diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, snacks, and whatever other consumables you think you’ll need. Your diaper bag doesn’t count as one of your carry-on items, so load it up with a couple changes of clothes for baby and whatever you’d normally need to use for food and diapering for a day. In an absolute and utter emergency, the airport sells diapers and wipes, or your airline will find you some, I promise!

I can’t imagine what else you are packing that you can’t find a way to improvise. What else are you packing?

1. agree with the others - you may be bringing too much stuff.

2. I've used lugless for my son to go to sleepaway camp for 3 years no. Excellent service, love them. Will be using them again this year. But please, read point #1 again.

Trying to make traveling with a baby as easy as possible and thinking about using a luggage delivery service. Has anyone ever used a luggage delivery service (like Lugless, ShipMyBag, ShipGo, etc.)? Any thoughts? Any referrals? Any warnings?
