Boys are often oblivious to when they're being hit on. They think "oh she's just being nice." He might just need to alter his assumptions about why women are interacting with him.

My son does not seem to be getting hit on at his 60:40 school. Maybe he needs an 80:20 school or perhaps an 85:15.
He says he really does not notice the differential, in part because his major is mostly male. I did ask about this a lot, though, because when you see the absolute numbers, it feels more dramatic (900 women and 600 men in his class).

Just being honest….My son is at a selective Private with more than 60% female.
He has never been one to “talk” to a bunch of girls. Normal kid. But he does say he gets hit on multiple times a week. So yes….this is a thing….

OP here. So true. I really concerned about male friendships. College is opportunity for lasting friendships, ephemeral romances (sometimes long term - but romance is not a concern at moment)

OP, my son is currently at a school that is about 58%-42% F to M.
He promptly found himself a girlfriend.
Guy friends are great and are all having a ball. They know they'll never have it this good numbers-wise again in their lives.
