Itโs not an issue for up to 20% of Florida homeowners. They found a brilliant workaround and decided not to play into the hands of insurance agents and instead, put themselves into the โhands of Godโ, by eschewing home insurance altogether. They are just going to roll the dice and if a tree lands on their 1980โs build, it is what it is.

Hey, you wanted EVs, lighter tin-can cars and several million people who had suspect driving skills to enter the market.
Many of those fancy cars are extremely expensive to repair. Never took that into consideration, did ya? Just the ole "if it feels good, do it".
