Oh RTO, what have you wrought…

And you know it’s Feds because real professionals make real money and buy a real lunch, not brown bag.

Piss off. Also not even true. https://www.wsj.com/business/more-people-are-bringing-lunch-to-work-thats-a-bad-economic-indicator-9693fddd

I’m a former Fed, I was just saying they are more likely brown baggers because they are underpaid. Wasn’t meant as a dig, but the RTO tie seems pretty funny.

Stack your lunch ON TOP of their bag.

Or put a jar of lemonade on it with a note saying "urine specimen on it.

I’d put a brown paper bag touching it that has a note on it that says “poop knife”

When I was still working in an office, we had a coworker who constantly got her groceries delivered to the office. She'd then take up most of the fridge space with the bags. The office manager finally told her she could only have her groceries delivered at 2 pm when the fridge was emptiest. But this move came after countless passive aggressive notes about being courteous of your coworkers and the shared space. She never thought those notes were for her. Totally clueless. Sometimes people just need it given to them direct. Shove a note in her lunch tote for her to find: This bag is too big for a communal fridge.

We have someone like this too. She knows it’s too big because she rearranges other people’s stuff already in the fridge to fit her mondo pink lunchbox. I’ve been hiding my food in the vegetable crisper just so I know where to find it later.

Is it possible this is catered food for some sort of team activity?

Otherwise, not sure I’d do anything about it but this is weird. There is someone in my office who brings their week’s worth of gross looking overnight oats in on Monday and leaves them all in the fridge, presumably eating one each day.

Is there not space for your stuff? If so yes, a note.
If it just bothers you because its rude but it's not an actual problem for you, no.
