I don't understand your question. Are you asking why ELA teachers know about a student's math grade?

If teachers are seeing a child struggle in every subject or in one subject only, that's valuable information that can lead to getting the right help.

Is there a reason why all the teachers have access to a student's schedule and other info such as grades, report card comments, birthdate etc..? Let's say a student is taking Jumbo (a made up subject/class because...mcps lurkers on here). The teacher in another class, let's call it Shrimp class, asks the student about something they saw in the student's record for Jumbo class.
