Every team should, it’s a lot of time whether they are paid or not. Even if they get gas reimbursement they still have wear and tear on their car. You don’t like the coach give them some Chick-fil-A gift cards or other easy gift cards. You like the coach step it up more then. An electric ball pump is a great gift. Dicks or soccer.com gift cards. Nice restaurant in your area if you like them.

Not us but I know some team still give $100 and a card signed by the kids as a thank you. If younger age group, you might get away with a card from the players as well.

All teams don't do this. Some teams do. Some teams don't. If your group does not want to, then don't do it. I would still be sure everyone thanks him at the end of the last game though.

If no one likes him there is no need to get a gift especially if he is a paid coach. Not all teams do it.

Sends the wrong message to give a $100-200 gift from the team fee/budget to a paid coach no one likes. just have a year end team celebration and thank him for his support...maybe a $25 gift card.

Youth coach is not a pro coach.

Pro coach is someone who works in a pro club and very likely on a televised environment. Do you train to be this ignorant?

Legit question. Basically, they don’t make that much to coach a team. I heard $7-$8k for the year. They also must bring & buy all their own equipment. So really, the end of year gift usually goes towards new goals, Pennie’s and other equipment as needed to train the kids.

$200-$300 is a normal amount.

Most clubs it's between $150 to $200. Also, it depends on if they were a good coach.
