Mounjaro is the exact same medication. I've been on it for years. You can get a savings card from the manufacturer which reduces the cost to about $550 per month.

A lot of people who go on these medications are able to reduce their healthcare costs. My MIL was able to go off insulin after 20+ years thanks to Mounjaro


Insulin is $35/month for those on Medicare.

There is not a more affordable option than "hundreds of dollars a month" for non-compound tirzepatide. You can order directly, cash pay, from Lily Direct, but I think that's in the neighborhood of $500.

What is an affordable way to take this medication? It looks like there is a savings program which knocks $100 off monthly, but then it is still hundreds of dollars a month. Any tips?
