Is Level III advanced math?

Similar to the previous post, 2 years ago we got the level III notification end of May with a due date that turned out to be the same day as the level IV (appeal) eligibility notification, which was about 2 weeks later. We had opted into level III already but that did not prevent opting into level IV later.

It appears it varies by school.

For my school, my kid was rejected mid April for Level 4. I submitted an appeal and a few weeks later around mid to late May, I got a Level 3 notification which I accepted. I then got the Level 4 appeal back over the summer which I accepted... it supercedes the Level 3 I had accepted earlier.

I thought there is no more level II/III, etc. it's just full time vs. part time.

No, Level III won't come out until the end of the school year.

Our school sent level III notifications well after level IV decisions came out. I’m pretty sure it was June.

Last year I received my 2nd grade child's level 3 notification in late April.

A few years ago, I got level 3 notification a week before school started. Since it's up to the school, I don't think there is a constant time to be notified.

Does anyone know if we get level 3 notifications before level 4 full time notifications for 2nd graders applying for 3rd grade placement?
