Are you really that obtuse? To recap, a bunch of UMC white people are upset about the uptick in crime in their expensive neighborhood after a school opens that is attended by mostly black and brown kids.

There are many videos of school trio fights that they post. Drugs and alcohol are destroying them, it's incredible how many parents allow it .My My son goes to a school near MacArthur and the students are out all the time. They need to be constantly supervised and irresponsible parents disciplined.

OP, I’ve seen that Nextdoor thread that all your examples are coming from, and it alarmed me as well.
My personal experience - I live close by, and I’ve only seen something I didn’t like once - kids smoking weed a couple blocks away early in the morning. Never seen any fights on the street or at bus stops.

Neighbors are claiming that it is from students who have stashed weapons in yards; they've beaten up a neighbor; been smoking weed on bus. I don't live in-bounds, but with my kid on the waitlist this is awfully alarming. It doesn't seem to be just "the NIMBYs," but those who have witnessed and have reported actual, real-life crimes.

I know that the PTO is very active. Any current parents -- or neighbors -- know what's really happening?

Assuming you mean kids are the reason for the violence? I haven't heard of any uptick in violence around the school.
