They repeated the Ann Boleyn final scenes from series 1 for context I think.


It was actually the discussions between Cromwell and the ghost of Cardinal Wolsey that gave me the real sense of deja vu.

I got a PBS subscription on Amazon for this and will cancel when I’m done watching. I’m trying to stretch out the episodes because they are just too good.

If anyone is watching this--aren't the first two episodes reruns from the original series? I could swear I've seen them before. I've read the trilogy (more than once) and am positive I am not just remembering Henry dressed like a Turk or Wolseys' daughter rebuffing Cromwell.
