I remember back in 2015 talking to a NY private equity guy at a Manhattan business dinner. We were both remarking that no one in the business world actually conducts themselves like then-candidate Trump — no one wants to do business with someone who huffs and puffs and blusters, it’s just not how serious business is done. The private equity guy told me that no one he knew had ever done any deals with Trump.

Can’t believe so many Americans fell for his schtick. Again. It’s like a bad dream.
