You can't take high school summer classes until the summer before 9th, but they should be able to knock out their tech credit with a middle school class. Ask their counselor.

Yes. Take a tech requirement class online over the summer (like into to engineering) and/or also the health class summer after ninth or online during school year. Music will count as art requirement anyway and then the only other in person requirement is PE which you could do freshman year. Wish we had done this summer before 9th!

Do students typically retake a course in which they earned a B,C, or D (are they allowed to)?
Or can students take a class in mcps summer school to help them improve their understanding of the content?
Can student take the course at Montgomery College (for example a Physics class) instead of summer school to replace a letter grade? Can a MC Physics class replace an AP Physics grade if student earns a higher grade at MC?
Do summer school classes take place at each high school and are they taught by a teacher that teaches at the same high school during the school year?
