they did not propose any RIF mar 13 given the numbers anticipated to take the fork/vera. once all of the exits are processed they will probably announce the restructuring.

of course doge is now onsite so maybe they'll force a RIF anyway.

no news is just that. there's no definitive news.

What’s the difference bw a RIF and restructuring?

RIF = firings.

Restructuring = reorganization, which could come with reassignments, firings or both.

Well, the plan was due a week ago to OMB. So they know.

Because no news is good news under the circumstances; because it's understood it'd be unfavorable to put MU on the spot and make him decide; because PA will be much worse than MU so a caretaker administration is as good as it gets

All of this, plus every single email ends up in Bloomberg within hours.

I don't understand what people want them to say: knowing how many people left does not tell you whether you'll be RIFd, and they are unlikely to confirm anything about restructuring before PA is confirmed. The reason other agencies have more information is that their politicals arrived sooner and RIFs are in progress. I'm quite happy hearing nothing with RIFs not in progress.

You’re not alone. It’s physiological torture to treat us like this and expect us to be productive.

I imagine it’s because they haven’t been told/don’t know.

Because MU is an AH? I mean that's pretty much the answer to any question you might have about all of this.
